Not much to say about today. Language class in the morning, grab a quick pastry from the lanchonete, rain between 5 and 7, and hot as hell the rest of the time. After class the exchange program gave us a tour of the Centro Cultural de Sao Paulo, a free public library and source of information and art. Pictures below are from the center and the surrounding streets, like this great view from a bridge nearby:
The roof of the Centro Cultural. Like I said, this place is free to access and even has sun chairs for the visitors...
...like this homeless-looking guy.
There's a small vegetable garden up there.
This is inside the center, just before we went onto the roof pictured above. This guard yelled at me for taking pictures, so I didn't get any more of the art inside.
From the roof
FGV kids assembling for a picture.
Afterwards, we all went to a frozen fruit juice place whose name I can't remember and drank frozen açaí while we waited out the usual tropical storm. If you dont know what açaí is, you're sorely missing out.
Tchau.
